Interview Question: What would happen if a transformer is made to operate at 60Hz instead of 50Hz?

Answers :There will be no effect on the secondary side voltage because in transformer frequency remains constant, but the hysteresis losses will increase when the transformer is made to operate at 60Hz.

PS:Eddy current loss is not dependent on frequency
